At the core of the kit is a heavy-duty Danforth anchor, known for its superior holding power in soft or sandy bottoms. The kit also includes 60 feet of rope (ideal for water depths up to 10 feet), chain, shackles, thimbles, an anchor buoy, a positioning/retrieval buoy, and an inflation needle for buoy inflation. All components are factory assembled, ensuring a fast and hassle-free installation process. Simply snap the system onto the cable loop at the joint of the containment boom’s top load line, then use the positioning/retrieval buoy to easily deploy, reposition, or retrieve the anchor as needed. For deeper water applications, longer rope lengths can be added.
