This 6’ x 8’ boom reel is designed for professional oil spill response and environmental containment operations, providing rapid deployment and compact storage for various containment boom sizes and styles. Each reel features a marine-grade aluminum alloy spool and base mounted on a heavy-duty steel skid or frame for maximum durability and corrosion resistance in saltwater or industrial conditions. The hydraulic drive system accepts power from any open-circuit hydraulic source (minimum 6 GPM @ 2500 PSI) and offers smooth, variable-speed control for both payout and retrieval. A clearly labeled control block provides intuitive operation with functions for reel direction, speed adjustment, and manual bypass, allowing the reel to be turned manually when hydraulic power is unavailable. Additional features include a pressure gauge, safety relief valve, and hydraulic brake for controlled, safe operation during deployment and recovery.

Boom Reels are available in multiple configurations—including skid-mounted, trailer-mounted, or containerized units—and can be customized to match boom length, diameter, and deployment method. Options include diesel hydraulic or electro-hydraulic drives, quick-connect fittings, and integrated control panels for standalone or system-based operation.
