Designed for high-performance recovery in challenging environments, this hydraulically driven drum skimmer system features 18" diameter oleophilic drums in various lengths, capable of recovering hydrocarbons at rates of up to 35 gallons per minute. Built to operate in water as shallow as 3 inches, it’s an ideal solution for inland and marsh spill response. The flotation unit is constructed from lightweight marine-grade aluminum and includes lifting handles and boom connector attachment points for easy transport and deployment. Paired with a powerful hydraulic power pack (available in diesel or electric), the system features dual circuits and independent flow controls, allowing precise adjustment of both drum rotation and transfer pump speed. The diaphragm-style transfer pump operates separately from the skimmer and can be used for other tasks when not needed for oil recovery. A standard set of 40-foot hydraulic and oil discharge hoses is included, with longer lengths available as an option.
