Each Shore Anchor A Kit includes two medium-duty earth screw anchors and two 25-foot lengths of 5/8" rope for securing one end of a containment boom or turbidity barrier. The earth screw anchors are installed by driving them into the ground until only the eye loop remains above the surface, creating a secure, low-profile anchor point without the need for concrete or heavy equipment. The durable rope provides reliable performance in a wide range of marine, freshwater, and shoreline environments.

For optimal performance, position the two earth screw anchors approximately 10–20 feet apart to create a triangular anchoring arrangement. Connect both ropes from the anchors to the boom, barrier, or tow bridle. This configuration evenly distributes anchoring loads across both anchors, reducing stress on individual components while improving stability and helping maintain the barrier's intended position during changing environmental conditions.
