Each Shore Anchor Kit includes two heavy-duty earth screw anchors and two 5/16" galvanized steel cables for securing one end of a containment boom or turbidity barrier. The earth screw anchors are installed by driving them into the ground until only the eye loop remains above the surface, creating a strong, low-profile anchor point without the need for concrete or heavy equipment. The corrosion-resistant galvanized steel cables provide long-lasting durability in harsh marine and freshwater environments.

For optimal performance, position the two earth screw anchors approximately 10–20 feet apart to create a triangular anchoring arrangement. Connect both anchor cables from the anchors to the barrier, boom, or tow bridle. This configuration evenly distributes anchoring loads across both anchors, reducing stress on individual components while improving stability and helping maintain the barrier's intended position during changing environmental conditions.
